Organic Chicory Drink
I’m really enjoying this Organic Chicory Drink from The Chicory Co. It’s like a nutty, roasted coffee but slightly fruity. It’s perfect if you don’t want caffeine. It’s a prebiotic due to the inulin fibre from the chicory root that it's made from, so good for gut health. In fact, there is nothing else in it but chicory root.
Organic Oat Fibre - 500g
Extra light and fluffy this oat fibre is ideal for making low-carb bread.
Veggy Duck - Natural Italian Almond Flour
These are the ground almonds I use for bread, cakes, biscuits, cookies and pizza. They are made from blanched almonds so the colour is good.
Salter Digital Scales
These are the digital scales I use. I put the mixing bowl on top and weigh my ingredients into it, resetting it to zero between each one. Less mess and faster cooking.
Silicone Baking Mat
I love these silicone baking mats. They fit my oven trays exactly, can be washed in the dishwasher, save baking parchment and my bread rolls don’t stick to them.
These are the Psyllium Husks I use. They are the husks not the powder which is fine for making bread. The colour is good as it doesn’t turn purple as some brands do.
The Groovy Food Company Organic Coconut Flour
This is the organic coconut flour I use, it has never let me down. I use it in cakes, biscuits and bread to add a little natural sweetness. Do be aware it is not a straight-forward swap for wheat flour.
Organic Golden Linseed (Flaxseed)
These are the golden flaxseeds that I use. It is cheaper to buy them whole and grind them in a small high-speed food processor.
This is the nutribullet I use to grind seeds, chop and blend small quantities of food.
Magimix Food Processor
This is my mixer, it chops, blends and generally makes cooking easy and fast, wouldn’t be without one.
This is the erythritol I use. You will see it crop up in some of the recipes that require sweetness without the carbs.
We have loved using this for family meals and have made curries, short ribs, pulled pork and more. Easy to wash, removable top dish and the ability to saute, slow or fast cook. It also looks good in the kitchen.
Salter Waffle Maker
We love this waffle maker and use to to make delicious and fluffy low-carb/keto waffles using coconut flour.
This is one of the most useful tools in the kitchen. It allows you to cut tomatoes without squashing them, it is always sharp and lasts for years. It also makes a good small bread knife for rolls.
Silicone Tipped Kitchen Tongs
These mini-tongs make the best salad servers, much easier than traditional salad servers.
Alessi Cheese Grater
We love this Alessi parmesan grater, it is perfect for long effective strokes to grate any hard cheese quickly. Its impressive looking so makes a great present too.
This is our grater, it gives a coarse grate, perfect for apples, carrots and cucumber.
We use these chopping boards for cutting fresh meat, fish etc so we can put them in the dishwasher. I like the fact they are non-slip too.
Organic Coconut Cream
I have made so many mistakes with coconut milk when the final taste of a dish has been spoilt by poor quality coconut milk with added ingredients. This brand is simply coconut and water.
Organic & Fair Trade Virgin Coconut Oil
This is our coconut oil of choice, it is pure and organic and only contains coconut oil.
This has a wonderful flavour and enough heat. Spread it onto cauliflower steaks, add to meat dishes and roasted vegetables.
Organic White Chia Seeds
These white chia seeds are ideal for making berry jams as their colour melts into the colour of the berries.
Stevia + Erythritol 1:1 (1kg)
I use Truvia (Stevia by another name) blended with Erythritol to give a pleasant sweetness to low-carb baking and desserts. It's better to buy in bulk and this 1kg tub is great value.
