This is simply mashed berries (a raw jam if you like) which can be stirred into yoghurt, cream or coconut cream. They are ideal made with frozen berries or in when in season, berries that are slightly passed their best, as any softness from freezing or being overripe doesn’t show in the jam.
For some reason eating squashed/mashed berries give more flavour than leaving them whole especially when stirred into yoghurt.
Use a mixture of tart (such as redcurrants) or sweet (such as strawberries) to balance out the sweetness or simply use all one type.
